Mike Gilpin Hurdy Gurdies

I am passionate about hurdy gurdies and have been a player for 25 years.

I initially studied instrument making with Zachary Taylor at West Dean College and then spent 3 years at the London Guildhall University on their Musical Instrument Technology course.

I have been making hurdy gurdies exclusively for the past 15 years and also give playing tuition, individually or in workshops.
