A simpler undecorated hurdy gurdy of my own design, ideally suited to the beginner. Made from flamed maple and walnut, with a spruce soundboard, it can also be in American or European walnut. Although called a flatback, the back is actually slightly arched.

Options include decoration, sympathetic strings and a carved head. Tuned either in D/G or G/C.
