Based on the style of instrument depicted in the painting by Hieronymous Bosch (c.1450-1516) entitled 'The Garden Of Earthly Delights'. However, unlike the hurdy gurdy in the painting, this hurdy gurdy is chromatic over two octaves.
Made using European and American walnut, it is also available in flamed maple, with a spruce soundboard, and with American walnut keybox lid, wheel cover and tailpiece.
Other options include a version in walnut and cherry.
Five or six stringed versions available, tuned G/C or D/G.
